Hello
I hope you enjoy perusing Giasera's website. My goal is to draw you in, entertain you with my tales and ultimately to encourage you to share your own stories.
Almost daily I hear someone say, "I don't have any interesting stories to tell." My answer is always, "You will be surprised to find how a single memory will coax another and then another. Before you know it, you will have a great story to tell and share with your loved ones!"
Author Bio
Angela Ciccolella Perrone is following her dream of telling tales and inspiring others to share their stories.
Born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey, Angela is the first-born child to immigrant parents from Italy and Venezuela. She was raised to be multilingual and found her calling early in life: she started translating for her parents at a very young age!
An alum of Holy Family Academy in Bayonne and Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, Angela settled in Arizona with her own young family in 1982.
After a brief stint in accounting, Angela started ACP Translations. For a decade, her company provided translations in four languages (Spanish, Italian, French and German). For the next 30 years Angela worked as a school district administrator and translator, where she served families of children in special education.
After an epiphany revealing her true love for storytelling, Angela started Giasera Enterprises. She returned to school for storytelling courses, getting a little closer to her dream of being a writer and storyteller.
Now retired, Angela feels blessed to have both her children and grandchildren, “the new loves of her life,” living nearby.
In her soon-to-be published first book of short stories, The Essence of Sharing, Angela hopes to inspire others to share their own stories. She believes that sharing stories is the most precious gift we can leave to future generations. Angela implores, “We cannot take our stories with us. Write them down, record them, share them. Be generous with your wisdom!”
